Ashley was born at San Clemente California on the 10th of February, 1987. Prior to moving to Hawaii, she began surfing when she was five years old. At the age of 6, she won a surf competition using a broken board which she discovered in a trash can outside of her house. The young surfer began her journey into surfing at the age of 5 years of age and won the first surf competition at the age of six. In the age of 7, she secured a sponsorship. Ashley was 16 when she competed in the NSSA National Championship. She was awarded the Triple Crown award for the Rookie of the Year in 2003. Ashley also took home titles, including two National Scholastic Surfing Association championships and the Professional Surfing Tour of America championship. Ashley was the 2011 Pipeline Women's Pro winner in Hawaii. Ashley is ranked 59th in this year's Women's Qualification Series. Anastasia Ashley posed in 2014 for the magazines Sport's Illustrated and Maxim Magazine. In 2014, Ashley launched her Gypsy Jet Set jewellery line in collaboration with OK1984.
